Go to 1952 Century Avenue and arrive before the 17:00 latest entry time.

Carry the passport used for any separately booked exhibition; general individual admission is not reservation-based.
If a special exhibition is sold out or changes its rule, visit the permanent galleries or use the official notice to select another date.

How to visit
B1 east gate (near Dingxiang Road)—security scan entry, the individual entrance; groups use the Century Avenue north gate.
Finish Shanghai Museum East with one slower gallery or the shop, then leave through the signed exit and check the transport note before heading back: Use Metro Line 2 to Shanghai Science and Technology Museum station, then walk east.
