Enter via the Wusheng Road south gate (Yan'an East Road side); the People's Square north gate is exit-only.
Finish Shanghai Museum (People's Square) with one slower gallery or the shop, then leave through the signed exit and check the transport note before heading back: Take Metro Lines 1, 2 or 8 to People's Square.
