Use the Suzhou Museum website, official WeChat account or 'Suzhou Museum full reservation' mini-program named in the 2026 notice.
The 2026 official notice says reservations open seven days ahead, including the reservation day.
Booking steps

Select the main building at 204 Dongbei Street, not Suzhou Museum West, when opening the official reservation system.

Reserve the date and time slot with the visitor passport details accepted by the official form.

Use the reservation entrance and show the confirmation plus original passport during real-name inspection.
Bring the reservation information and the original passport; the official notice explicitly lists passport entry.
If the official page has no current product, use the venue's published contact or staffed desk; do not substitute an OTA.
Imported official reservation note
The main hall runs a fully-timed booking system: book up to seven days ahead (incl. the day) via the official site, official WeChat account, the '苏州博物馆全预约' mini-program or the '君到苏州' WeChat account. Entry requires the booking info plus your original ID or passport. The West Hall, Folk Museum and Ancient Books Library admit on a first-come basis without booking. Info line 0512-67575666.

How to visit
No.204 Northeast Street (main gate); store large bags first at the visitor service centre opposite the main gate, then enter.
Finish Suzhou Museum with one slower gallery or the shop, then leave through the signed exit and check the transport note before heading back: Use Suzhou Metro, a licensed taxi or ride-hailing and navigate to the named entrance.
