Imported official reservation note
A free public district with no unified booking flow published on the official site—just walk in. Only when major events (e.g. the Chengdu temple fair) fold Jinli into the event zone does the official event notice apply. Paid venues/shows with booking requirements need separate checks.

How to visit
Main gate at No.231-1 Wuhouci Avenue, next to Wuhou Shrine Museum; about 3 minutes' walk from Exit A2 of Wuhouci (Jinli) Station on Metro Line 10, or about 10 minutes from Exit A of Gaoshengqiao Station (Lines 3/5).
Leave Jinli Ancient Street from the side closest to the next stop, then follow the transport note: Use the metro or a licensed taxi and navigate with the Chinese name and address. Walking the same lane back is usually the slow option.

Enter as early as possible after the weekday opening (about 8:00–9:00) when it's quiet and good for photos; after 18:00 the lanterns make the atmosphere best but crowds grow; the temple fair (around Spring Festival) is extremely crowded.

The official site's best-tour window is 08:00–22:30; businesses run about 09:00–22:00. Evening lights come on around 19:00 in summer and 18:00 in winter, adjustable with weather. The public district has no unified last-entry time.
