Official 'ticket-booking notice': resident ID holders can buy online (follow the '大足石刻' official WeChat account and authorized platforms such as the '土行孙旅游' WeChat account, or use the visitor centre's self-service ticket machine/manual window). Holders of HK/Macau travel permits, Taiwan permits, passports and other documents must buy at the visitor centre's manual ticket office. Online purchasers enter by scanning the original ID plus face-match; those without an ID take a paper ticket and show other valid documents. Policy-exempt visitors must complete exemption formalities online or at the ticket window with valid documents and proof of eligibility.

How to visit

Start

Dazu Rock Carvings visitor centre (Baotang Avenue; from Dazu South Station take bus 205 to Telecom Bureau station and transfer).

Finish

Finish Dazu Rock Carvings, Baoding Mountain with one slower gallery or the shop, then leave through the signed exit and check the transport note before heading back: Use a direct tourist bus, intercity transport via Dazu, or a hired car; it is far from central Chongqing.
