Buy a dated ticket through the official Shanghai Disney Resort website or official app.
Choose the visit date when tickets are available; the official system controls the current sales window.
Booking steps

Open the official resort site and select the dated admission product.

Enter every visitor's name and passport details exactly as shown on the passport.

Save the confirmation and present the passport and order at security and admission.
The passport used for the order and the official ticket confirmation are required for identity-linked admission.
If the chosen date is unavailable, use the official system to select another date or contact resort support before travelling.

Fixed-date real-name tickets: since 2024-12-23 a stricter real-name policy applies—every guest must buy with a valid ID, one ID per park-visit day max; foreign guests use a valid passport or foreigner's permanent-residence ID, and the original document is the only entry credential. Official channels: official site, official App, WeChat account, booking service centre, JD and Fliggy official flagship stores. Refunds: from 2026-01-12, free refund at least 7 days before the visit date, ¥80/ticket service fee for 6–1 days ahead, non-refundable on the visit day; refunds only if no coupons used and no reschedule made.

How to visit
Park main entrance (toward Mickey Avenue), 5–10 minutes' walk from Disney Resort Station on Metro Line 11; after security, enter with your original document + ticket QR code.
Keep the final parade or fireworks position in mind, then leave in the resort flow with a buffer for the metro or pickup.

Best time
Arrive early after the weekday opening; avoid weekends, holidays and summer peak days (¥719 tier); in heat watch the weather—outdoor shows may be cancelled.
Foreigner notes
Supported: foreign tourists must real-name purchase with a valid passport or foreigner's permanent-residence ID; the original document is the only entry credential (new real-name policy from 2024-12-23).

Official App/site support mobile payment; the resort confirms cash, mobile payment and international bank cards are accepted (project's payment clues); value-added services like Premium Access sell through the four official channels only.

For Shanghai Disneyland, save 上海迪士尼度假区 and 黄赵路310号 in the map app; a broad venue pin may stop short of the visitor gate.
Avoid these mistakes
Guests under 16 can't enter alone. They must be accompanied by a guest aged 16+; companions must also buy tickets and pass the same real-name check.
Document mismatch blocks entry. Bring the original passport used at purchase—the original document is the only valid entry credential; copies or electronic scans are not accepted.
Buying an expensive ticket on a high-priced day. Check the official App's 30-day rolling price calendar before travelling; skip peak days (¥719/799 tiers) and pick regular days (¥475).
Same-day refunds aren't possible. From 2026-01-12, tickets are non-refundable on the visit day; free refund at least 7 days ahead, ¥80/ticket service fee for 6–1 days ahead; rescheduling requires doing so within 48 hours after the visit-day midnight and availability of the same product.
Third-party ticket risk. Buy only through official direct channels (official site/App/WeChat account/booking service centre/JD & Fliggy official flagship stores); unauthorized channels may not gain entry or may scam you.
Outdoor shows can be cancelled in extreme heat. In August heat, parades like 'Mickey's Storybook Express' may be cancelled—check the official App's notices before travelling and guard against heat.
