Choose passport in the official form; if it is unavailable, contact the venue or ask the visitor desk for assistance.

Keep the booking message, ticket or receipt and present it with the same passport.

Do not enter a made-up Chinese ID number. If the form blocks foreign documents or phone numbers, use the staffed route or contact the venue before departure.
Imported official reservation note
Free but real-name booking is mandatory—6,000 bookings per day until full. Channels: the official site, WeChat service account and mini-program; book up to 7 days ahead, with slots releasing daily at 16:00; each person books once per day, each account up to 6 people, and you enter in your slot. Foreign visitors must book with their own passport or foreigner permanent-residence ID. Seniors 60+, people with disabilities, fire-rescue staff and active/retired military with preferential documents skip booking; children under 6 skip booking and are verified with the booker. Entry uses the original document used for booking, verified at the booking lane plus security. If you can't make it, cancel in the system before 16:00 that day, or it counts as one no-show; three no-shows within 30 days block booking for 30 days from the third.

How to visit
Main entrance (No.1 Wusi Dajie, Dongcheng District, Beijing, facing south on the street); walk from the China Art Museum Station on Metro Line 8. Leave through the same front gate.
Return through the central lobby after the final selected gallery.

Basic visits are free with no payment; if paid specials open online purchase, it's mainly WeChat/Alipay, with no official statement on direct international-card payment; the in-house culture shop accepts cash/mobile payment.
The official site offers an English version (EN link) and major signage includes English. Talks are mainly Chinese; specials usually come with QR-code audio guides (some English)—go by the site.
Gallery value changes with every installation. Confirm titles, floors and end dates before assigning a half-day.
