Beijing Daxing International Airport, coded PKX, is a large single-terminal hub south of the city. Its compact radial layout is clear once inside, but the long trip from central Beijing makes the choice of Airport Express, intercity rail or road transport important.

Follow signed pickup areas; for buses, choose by the exact downtown stop and latest timetable.

- Central Beijing is far away, so road fares and times are substantial.
Foreigner notes
The star-shaped terminal reduces internal complexity, but travelers should not underestimate the journey to or from central Beijing.
A direct Airport Express ride is predictable; additional subway transfers during rush hour can be the tiring part.
Bus routes and operating hours can change. Use current airport information rather than a saved old timetable.
