The south gate is the walk-in entrance (from Shengbo Hubei Daily Station Exit A on Metro Line 8, walk via Huangli Road → Shengbo Road, ~700 m; or ~1.6 km/20 min from Dongting Station on Line 4).
Finish Hubei Provincial Museum with one slower gallery or the shop, then leave through the signed exit and check the transport note before heading back: Use Wuhan Metro or a licensed taxi and navigate with the exact Chinese entrance name.
